Office 2007 - Default to 97/2003 format
Although the new open format Microsoft have introduced for Office 2007 will soon be the defacto standard in the interim most businesses need to exchange documents in the good old Office 97/2003 format. Remembering to save things correctly can become a chore. So to save having to think change the default save to the old format. To do this do the following:
- Open a document
- Click the Office button
- In Options choose save then 'save files in the format'
- Select 97/2003 format
- Click OK
